   Awesome,

   Thanks for the response,

Not Twin Jet that was promoting something in that capacity. It was a
company that promotes they're using Twin Jet, then in the same document
   went on in that capacity.

   It's on the interwebs.

Am really curious about the bring your own device 'making tech
available to everyone' age. Have generally held the belief that their
should be upfront costs and atraining associated with hiring a courier.
A deposit and some sort of assurance that whoever is getting hired will
   make enough.

Dunno maybe i'm still bitter after spending my early years working for
a company that had 30 couriers when they only needed 10.

Got your other email, Will talk off line with you from anow on.

Soz might be a while. Jobsa on.

   Cheers.

I 3rd the Doug MCA vote!

You sound like Jerry Seinfeld Doddsy!

Where did you get the idea that we at Twinjet are promoting anything in
   that capacity? (We aren't)

In fact, several of the companies using TJ pay hourly, some pay
strictly commission, others pay their couriers some combo of both.

As far as how much they make, most make seem enough to keep working at
   the companies that use Twinjet.

If anything we promote openness and transparency within courier
services. We are trying to build a community and network of like minded
grassroots courier owned and run delivery services. We specifically
designed TJ with traveling in mind, to encourage physical community and
   skill-sharing across our network.

(Came in handy Sunday when one of our clients at TCB unexpectedly
doubled their volume and simultaneous to that we had a dude call out of
work. Nick G from pdx/San Diego was at the TCB office during shit storm
and mentioned he had a TJ profile. We need an extra rider and adding
him to TCB was a 1 minute process. 10 minutes later he had jobs on
board an en route. Saved the day. Thanks Nick !)

If you're interested in a demo or would like us to contribute to your
research (we know a lot about current courier tech, like a lot a lot)
feel free to reach out to me, or (international party dude) Matt
Savoia, or Chas. (Doug Suriano does a great deal for Twinjet, answering
questions about it isn't one of them, so don't bother...)

Great to know there's a system out there for people who need it, but
is everyone who's adopted this using it responsibly? Are the
couriers making enough money? Doesnat really matter if it's just for
an indy starting out I guess, takes time to build things up. But
should this system be made available to people who don't have the
adequate training, aren't responsible and don't do the right thing
     with it?
Apologies if this comes across as offensive but researching and
testing tech is a personal ahobby of mine.
One thing grabbed me while I was researching this dispatch system.
A courier company who uses it is promoting the idea a restaurant
shouldn't have to pay their delivery guys a meagre $9.75 an hour.
'######## Tacos is projecting $144,245 this year in delivery. Whoa,
cool. Hiring a delivery driver would cost them an average $9.75/hour
including FICA, FUTA, & Medicare taxes. Thatas $107.25 every 11-hour
day or $38,610 a year! But with our retainer fee, theyare only
paying $14,424. THATaS A NET SAVINGS OF $24,186! The best part?
-We donat charge a thing if delivery sales donat reach at least
     $2,000 a month'
Can't decide if that's cool or not, better still if this should be
     regulated from the top down.

     of
